INCI Name: Curcuma longa

Turmeric extract is derived from the turmeric root and is rich in curcuminoids, mainly curcumin, which gives it strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and brightening properties.

Our turmeric extract is available in water-soluble form (glycerin/water extract).

Typical Usage Rates

• Water-soluble turmeric extract: 1–5%

• Works best at pH 4.5–6.

Avoid strong acids like glycolic acid or AHAs in the same product because curcumin destabilizes at low pH.

• Hyaluronic acid solution: 2%

• Preservative (Liquid germal plus): 0.5%

• pH adjusted to 5–5.5
