Snail filtrate is a powerful skin-repair ingredient known for its hydrating, smoothing, repairing, and anti-aging properties. It is extremely popular in K-beauty and is used in serums, essences, creams, and masks.

1. Deep Hydration
   Contains hyaluronic acid, glycoproteins, and proteoglycans that draw moisture into the skin and maintain long-lasting hydration.

2. Skin Repair & Regeneration
   Naturally contains allantoin (soothing and healing), collagen, elastin, and a small amount of glycolic acid. Helps repair damaged skin barriers and fade scars.

3. Anti-Aging
   Improves elasticity, smooths fine lines, and stimulates collagen production.

4. Brightening
   Helps fade dark spots and evens out hyperpigmentation, especially when combined with niacinamide.

5. Soothing
   Ideal for sensitive, irritated, or acne-prone skin.

Typical Usage Rate

• Liquid extract: 1–5%

Formulation Notes

• Water-soluble → add in the cool-down phase below 40°C.

• Compatible with: hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, panthenol, glycerin/propanediol, peptides, allantoin, collagen, rice/oat/silk extracts, aloe vera.

• Avoid strong acids (AHA/BHA) or very low pH → may destabilize proteins.

• Snail secretion filtrate — 5%

• Niacinamide — 4%

• Allantoin — 0.5%

• Hyaluronic acid solution — 2%

Phase C

• Preservative (Liquid germal plus) — 0.5%

• Adjust pH to 5.0–5.5
