Cosmetic Use
Skin-brightening / Anti-pigmentation: Inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme that catalyzes melanin synthesis — helping fade dark spots, melasma, uneven tone.
Antioxidant: Protects skin lipids from oxidation, improving radiance and protecting from UV-induced darkening.
Stable alternative to Kojic Acid Kojic Acid oxidizes easily and turns brown; Kojic Dipalmitate is much more stable to heat, light, and pH changes.
Formulation Tips
Note: It must be dissolved in the oil phase or a solvent blend (e.g., isopropyl myristate + caprylic/capric triglycerides) before emulsification.
Ensure Kojic dipalmitate is completely melted and homogeneously dissolved; incomplete solubilization can cause grainy texture or separation.
Combine with antioxidants (Vitamin E, BHT, etc.) to enhance stability.
