Origin:
A cationic (positively charged) derivative of guar gum, a natural polysaccharide extracted from guar beans.

Functions in Formulations:

• Conditioning Agent: Binds to negatively charged hair surfaces, improving smoothness and manageability.

• Thickener: Enhances viscosity and texture in shampoos, conditioners, and body washes.

• Film Former: Leaves hair soft and silky after rinsing.
