Tip:
It is not usually used alone in shampoos (foam is soft) — best blended with cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium cocoyl isotheinate.
Usage rates (typical)
- Facial cleanser: 3–8%
- Body wash: 5–12%
- Shampoo: 5–15%
- Baby products: 2–5%
pH stable: 5.0–7.5 (ideal for skin & scalp)
