A mild, plant-derived non-ionic surfactant widely used in cosmetics and personal care, especially in gentle and natural formulations.

Type: Non-ionic surfactant (cleansing agent & foam booster)

Appearance: Clear to pale yellow viscous liquid

Tip:
It is not usually used alone in shampoos (foam is soft) — best blended with cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium cocoyl isotheinate.

• Facial cleanser: 3–8%
• Body wash: 5–12%
• Shampoo: 5–15%
• Baby products: 2–5%
