Collagen Protein

Hydrolysed Collagen, also called Hydrolyzed Collagen, Collagen Hydrolysate, or Collagen Peptides, is collagen that has been broken down into smaller molecules so it dissolves easily in water and absorbs better into skin and hair.

This makes it water-soluble, light, non-sticky, and able to penetrate the upper layers of skin and coat hair strands.

Formulation Tip

Always add in the cool-down phase, below 40°C, because heat destroys the protein structure. It is pH-stable in the range of 4.5–7.
