Common Skincare Uses of Chamomile Flowers

1. Chamomile-Infused Oil
Fill a clean jar halfway with dried chamomile flowers and cover with a carrier oil (e.g., jojoba, sunflower, or sweet almond oil).
Let it infuse for 2–3 weeks in a cool, dark place, then strain.
Use as a facial oil, baby oil, or base for balms and creams.

2. Chamomile Toner / Facial Mist
Steep 1 tbsp dried chamomile in 1 cup hot distilled water for 15 minutes.
Cool, strain, and store in a spray bottle (keep refrigerated for up to a week).
Use to calm redness, hydrate, and refresh your skin.

3. Chamomile Face Mask
Mix ground chamomile or tea infusion with honey or yogurt.
Apply for 10–15 minutes to soothe, brighten, and reduce irritation.

4. Steam Facial
Add a handful of chamomile flowers to a bowl of hot water.
Lean over (cover your head with a towel) for 5–10 minutes.
Helps open pores, detoxify, and calm inflamed skin.

5. Bath Soak
Place chamomile flowers (alone or mixed with oats and dried roses) in a muslin bag or sachet.
Add to warm bathwater for a relaxing, skin-softening soak.

Chamomile-infused oil or extract can be blended into healing balms, baby creams, or post-sun lotions for extra soothing benefits.
