Affipore™ is a cosmetic active ingredient designed to regulate sebum (oil) and refine pores.

Main Botanical Source: Barosma betulina (leaf extract)

Skin Care Uses:

• Sebum regulation: reduces excess sebum production.

• Pore refinement: reduces number, diameter, and volume of pores.

• Mattifying effect: reduces shiny skin appearance.

Performance:

• Reduces sebum secretion by up to ~42%.

• Reduces the number of pores by up to 24%, and their volume and diameter by up to 20%.

Recommended Use in Formulations:

• Typical usage rate: 1% – 3%

• Solubility: Water-soluble

• Formulation considerations: Best added in the water phase (or late phase) because it is glycol-based. pH should be compatible with skin-friendly values 4.5 to 6. Use in seboregulating, anti-oily, or pore-refining products.
