Affipore™ is obtained from the leaves of Barosma betulina.
It is a cosmetic active ingredient that inhibits the amount of sebum secreted by the cell.
Effects on skin:
By decreasing the final amount of sebum on the skin surface:
1. There is an improvement in all signs of oily skin.
2. There is a reduction and refining of enlarged and visible facial pores.
3.There is mattifying of shiny patches on skin due to excess oil production in the skin.
4. Overall elimination of the oily and shiny look and feel of face.
Application: serums, moisturizers
1. In sebum control serums for oily skin products.
2. In oil free face gels and moisturizers for oily and acne prone skin.
3. Used best when combined with niacinamide and zinc pca for oily skincare.
Usage rate: 0.5% to 2% add to cool down phase if in an emulsion.
